A huge congratulations to all of our Year 6 children for their hard work, resilience and perseverance throughout this week’s SATs. We are incredibly proud of the calm and mature way they approached each test, applying all of their knowledge and understanding with confidence and determination. They should all feel extremely proud of themselves!
To celebrate this important milestone, Year 6 were also presented with their leavers’ hoodies. We are looking forward to seeing a wonderful rainbow of colours proudly worn throughout the rest of the school year — a lovely reminder of the friendships and memories they have created together.
Meanwhile, Year 5 have been working incredibly hard on mastering the four operations. Their determination and growing confidence have been fantastic to see, and they are rightly very proud of their achievements.
In English, we have also enjoyed writing senryū poems. Following the syllable structure carefully proved both fun and rewarding and we loved experimenting with language and imagery to create thoughtful and imaginative poetry.
Aplogies for the misorientated images. We will persevere with rectorfying.
