Owl Class News 16.05.25

We are so proud of our wonderful Year 6 children who have tried incredibly hard this week as they have taken their SATs papers. They have been focussed and mature and have really sought to demonstrate how well they have worked and learned through their Primary School years. It was a great relief when the final paper was complete and everyone could relax. As part of this, they created some lovely symmetrical art work. Friday has been an exciting day – the Leavers’ Hoodies were presented in Collective Worship; we had a read through of our play for the summer (‘Out of this World’); and we went to the park for a celebratory playtime. Through all this, Year 5 have been working steadily at creative writing based on a range of pictures and have been focussing on varying and improving their sentence openers. We are looking forward to our trip to the mandir on Monday. Please remember to be here for 8:20 and refer back to the letter for the dress code and guidance on the content of packed lunches. Legs need to be covered to below the knee, so no shorts and if girls are wearing skirts or dresses, please wear leggings underneath. Many thanks for your help with this.
