The children are increasingly settled into the routine of being in Year 6. This week we have continued to work on place value in maths, including rounding, focusing on being able to explain our understanding in clear, accurate sentences. In English we have written a piece of descriptive writing based on our class book, Rose Blanche. A highlight of the week was Science where the children showed a good grasp of dependent, independent and control variables as they planned an experiment on solubility.
