This week, Owl Class have been focusing on human characteristics.
In PSHE, we explored our own personal traits and thought carefully about what makes each of us unique. We then took a quiet moment to reflect on the characteristics of our talk partners. When we read what others had written about us, we were overwhelmed by how positively we are seen and valued by our classmates. It was truly a “wow” moment that gave our self-esteem a wonderful boost!
In RE, we have been thinking about people who inspire us. Mrs Blackmore shared how Dolly Parton inspires her to always strive to be her best. Dolly Parton is known not only for her talent, but also for her kindness, generosity, determination, and strong work ethic. She shows us the importance of believing in ourselves, working hard, and using our success to help others.
