The week has flown by as we continue to develop our confidence with fractions and writing a discussion. In addition, we have been learning about how Oxford has developed over time, from a river crossing to today’s busy city. We learnt that it once was a walled city and that the canal was built before the railway. We started our Science topic of Light, learning that light travels in straight lines and the children managed to get their torch beam to ‘Hit the target’ after much trial and error. Have a lovely weekend and we look forward to see everyone on Monday morning, ready for our Woodlands adventure!
