What a fantastic week we’ve had in Owl Class! In maths, we have been diving into the power of ten, working with numbers all the way up to ten million. The children have really impressed us with how confidently they are moving digits to the left and right with understanding of the impact, while recognising just how important that little placeholder zero can be! They’ve enjoyed putting their knowledge to the test through problem-solving challenges and comparing large numbers.
In RE, we took time to reflect on Genesis 1 and explored how artists have expressed their understanding of this creation story. The children were so respectful and thoughtful in sharing their own interpretations – it was a truly calm and inspiring session.
