It has been an incredibly busy week and also very hot! Year 5 have managed (nearly) to complete a series of assessments while also fitting in the KS2 Sports Day at Tilsley Park, a boys’ football tournament and an afternoon of dance with Beth, working on the songs from our play. The boys were a real credit to the school at the football tournament, showing a positive attitude, encouraging one another and maintaining respect. On Thursday, Year 6 visited Eynsham Primary School where they worked with Year 6 children from Eynsham and St Peter’s, Cassington, to solve the mystery of the missing goldfish. Next week looks very busy too, with Sports Day, the girls’ football tournament and two Transition Days at Bartholomew for Year 6, plus another afternoon of dance with Beth. We can’t wait!
