What a brilliant week we have had in Owl Class. The children have been amazing, managing to keep focussed and working hard right up until the final day, despite all the exciting Christmas activities of the week. On Monday, we had our Christingle service where the Year 6s organised their Christingles really well and processed with dignity. Year 5 played their part with readings, candle-lighting, prayers, singing in the choir and holding a sparkling Christingle through the talk. It was a very special occasion. Then on Wednesday, we had Christmas jumper day and school Christmas lunch. It was a lovely mealtime with excellent manners and very pleasant conversation. Amongst all this activity, the children have learned about plant reproduction, line graphs and how World War II eventually came to an end, as well as completing their prequels of Once. Everyone is ready for a change of routine and I hope that all the children have a happy and restful Christmas break. Thank you for all the kind messages, cards and presents.
