Owl Class has now really settled in, working hard and having an excellent attitude to learning. We have had fun this week beginning to put together a drama/ song/ presentation on the human circulatory system which we will be performing next week in Science. We have continued to develop our understanding of place value and powers of 10, and have looked at the function of suffixes. In English, we are building towards re-telling the slaying of Medusa by Perseus, focussing on how to build tension in our writing. This week was also our second Mandarin lesson of term and our specialist teacher was very impressed with how much the children had remembered. We are looking forward to our trip to the Ashomolean on Monday.
