Owl Class News 23.05.25

Life in Owl Class has certainly brightened up since the Year 6s received their hoodies! It has been a busy week with lots of highlights. On Monday, we had our RE trip to the Mandir in Neasden. It was a fantastic trip and Mrs Tingley was so proud of the respect shown. I am sure the children have talked to you about what they saw and experienced, which led to some lovely writing on Tuesday afternoon. Another significant part of the week has been the casting of the class play. Many children put considerable effort into preparing for the auditions and our first read through in character on Thursday afternoon went extremely well. This year’s play is extra special as two of the children in class have written an additional scene which extends and develops the ending. It is great to see good writing skills put to work in a real life situation.

This has been a short half term but a packed one and I am sure that everyone is ready for a rest and a break next week. I look forward to seeing the children back in June for the busy final term of the year.
