On Tuesday this week, we went to Tilsley Park athletics track in Abingdon together with Year 5, to take part in the EPA KS2 sports day. The rain held off and we had a great time. The children behaved very well and tried their very best, particularly showing determination and resilience when running the 600m (it is a long way!) Many thank to Charlie’s dad who joined us for the day. Also this week, the children have cooked tomato sauce and pasta, (a very important life skill), and have been learning about nets and scale factors. Please do keep supporting your child in being secure with their lines for the play including the songs, and also learn their stage directions so that they know when they are meant to come on and off stage.
