What a fantastic end to the term! The children have remained motivated and eager to learn right up to the final week.
On Wednesday, we hosted a Greek Day to celebrate life in Ancient Greece. The children’s wonderful costumes brought our role play activities to life, and we enjoyed completing our own myths — creating quests that reflected the figurative language of traditional mythical writing.
Our Greek food tasting was a particular highlight, with not a single crumb left behind!
We also had our final fun swimming session, where many children bravely took on the challenge of swimming in the deep end.
To finish the week, we wrote our own Greek free verse poetry, celebrating the strength and heroism of ancient soldiers.
We wish all our families a safe, happy, and restful half term!
