Owl Class News 25.04.25

It has been lovely to see everyone back after the break and some of us have clearly seen the sun. All the children should now have brought home their homework grid, which includes ‘The Most Important Things’. These are using White Rose One Minute Maths, Spelling Shed, Timestables.co.uk (and Maths.co.uk for Year 6) on a daily/ three times a week basis. Also, reading every day and with an adult three times a week. In addition, if children wish to extend their curriculum learning, there are some tasks to undertake. Please support your child in these Most Important Things. It will make a real difference.

We have enjoyed the start of our Art and Science topics and also the chance for a cricket session with Mr Apps from the cricket club. On Thursday, Year 6 had their first Transition Day at Bartholomew, meeting the other 200 Year 6s who will be starting at Bartholomew in September and taking part in a wide range of activities in the fresh air.

Have a lovely weekend.
