We have had a fabulous week. Year 5 have completed all their assessments and we have spent time working through the papers to learn how to tackle certain types of question ready for next time. On Tuesday, the girls’ football team took part in a tournament at Eynsham Primary School. They played three matches and won one of them, which was great. Well done for all that running on a hot, windy afternoon! We have had another two hours with Beth, learning dances for the play, and on Wednesday we managed our first (very nearly) complete run through of the whole show. Wednesday was also Sports Day, and the children had a great time in the sunshine. Year 6 have spent the final two days of the week at Bartholomew School, at Transition Days. They have met their new forms and had a range of lessons, giving them an excellent taste of what is to come from September. Meanwhile, Year 5 have thought about having a Growth Mindset, and the fact that our brain only gets stronger if we keep doing things that we find challenging. Science Day has been a lovely way to end the week.
