This week has been packed with achievement, creativity, and thoughtful discussion across Owl Class.
We are incredibly proud to share that all Year 5 pupils successfully achieved their Bikeability! After first demonstrating confidence and accuracy when cycling within the school grounds, we progressed to riding safely on the main roads around Stanton Harcourt. This was a fantastic opportunity to apply our skills in a real-life context. We are very proud of our achievements and look forward to safely applying these skills in our free time.
Meanwhile, our Year 6 pupils have been completing their Design and Technology projects, creating playground prototypes that they would love to enjoy. Through a process of designing, reviewing, and modifying, everyone produced a prototype they could be proud of. It has been wonderful to see such creativity, resilience, and problem-solving throughout this project.
In PSHE, we have continued exploring healthy online relationships, including what it means to be part of an online community.
Our discussions have been thoughtful and purposeful, giving us plenty of opportunities for reflection, open opinions, and questions. We are developing a deeper understanding of how to communicate respectfully and responsibly in the digital world.
It has been another fantastic week of learning and growth in Owl Class!
