Primary Maths Challenge Success

posted in: News | 0

In November, 66,500 children in Years 5 and 6 in the UK took part in the primary maths challenge, including 15 at Stanton Harcourt school. Of the 66,500, 2521 were invited to take part in the Bonus Round in February. Of these, 1590 children (2.4% of the original number) were given an award. One of our Year 5 children did so well that he has earned a bronze medal. Congratulations! Good news for Years 3 and 4 – in the summer they will have the chance to take part in the First Maths Challenge.
