Wow what a fantastic and busy week we have had.
We have been been looking at the Eat Well plate in DT. We discussed how we stay healthy and we sorted which foods go into each food group. We discussed that Carbohydrates give us energy and we need 6-8 glasses of water a day to stay hydrated.
We have also continued our Polar Regions topic in Geography and we explored famous Artic Explorer ‘Ernest Shackleton’. We learnt about his different expeditions and we learnt that although he went on 3 expeditions, his most famous was his ‘Endurance’ mission.
In math’s, Year 2 have continued exploring money and making similar amounts. We have also practiced counting in 2’s, 3’s, 5’s and 10’s. Great work everyone.
This week, we have also learnt our school song. It was amazing to hear and we have loved learning it.
We hope you all have a lovely weekend
Next week on Wednesday, the school will be celebrating Neurodiversity and we invite children to come to school in bright colours.
