Over the past week we have starter our new DT project. We are going to be making our very own moving parts leaping fish model! This week was the first stage, creating and designing our fish. During art we looked at different fish and practiced during the parts of the fish we are going to use. We continued this out in forest school and used natural materials to replicate the textures and patterns you might see on a fish.
In PSHE we have been talking about how we change as we grow up. We learnt about different life cycles and thought about whether different animals are the same as their parents when they are born. We read the story Monkey Puzzle to help us understand.
