Squirrel Class – Term 3, Week 2

posted in: Squirrel Class News | 0

The Year 1 children had fun using masks to re-tell the story of The Gingerbread Man this week, this has resulted in the beginning of some great story writing. Year 2 are also becoming more confident in their writing, so much so that Mrs Crouch shared one story with the whole school during Collective Worship – well done Squirrel Class, keep up the hard work.

Year 2 club began on Thursday and although this was already well supported, I hope that I will see even more children decide that they would like to attend.

I sent all PE bags home on Friday in order for the children to come to the Dance Festival at Bartholomew on Tuesday already dressed in their PE kit. Please put school uniforms in PE bags on this day and then the children can change ready for afternoon lessons. If you are unsure of the correct kit please refer to the school website.

The class marble jar is once again full due to the children working together and making the right choices. We will make a tally chart to determine what treat they would like and I’m hoping that this can be carried out next week. WOW Squirrel Class what an amazing start to Term 3!
